The Cost of a New Smile

The old adage ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’ certainly has merit. However studies show that your appearance does affect people’s perception of you. Cosmetic dentistry is one option that can improve the way you look and give you a smile you can feel confident about. But will it break your budget, or is it affordable?
A fee survey was conducted among expert cosmetic dentists from coast to coast in the continental United States and here are the results:
• Porcelain Veneers: the cost ranges from $975 per veneer up to $2200 per veneer, depending on the area of the country.
• Porcelain crowns: the cost is about the same as porcelain veneers - $950 per crown up to $2200
• White fillings for back teeth: anywhere form $150 - $500 depending on the number of fillings that need to be done
• Bonding a front tooth: this can vary from $300 - $1600
What are you paying for in these fees?
• The training and experience of the dentist
• Costly base materials
• Lab work
Some cosmetic dentistry procedures are covered by dental insurance plans, but they might only be willing to cover the functional treatment. This means that your insurance provider may pay for a crown to physically protect your tooth, but they won't pay the extra fee required to make it beautiful.
Some dental offices offer an affordable payment plan that makes it simple to have a beautiful, confident smile you’ve always dreamed of, so you can start the work right away. Our office accepts most credit cards and we extend a 3 month payment plan for most major work. (This is done in house with no interest).
We also offer “Carecredit”: a 3rd party financing option that enables you to pay for your dental treatment over the course of up to one year without any interest! It takes only minutes to apply and can help to make dreams come true.
To paraphrase that credit card ad you see on TV – tooth colored fillings to replace your old metal fillings: $250. Porcelain veneers that give you even, beautiful teeth: $1850. Feeling confident: priceless!
